Anyone from the Austin area?

I was just curious if there was anyone going to TRF this year from the Austin area, might wanna ride-share or something?

I am just getting too excited.
I have gone to scarborough every year since I was a kid, never had good garb, always in like my mom's blouse or something, this will be the first year of full garb, and I am overly excited.

Only been to Scarby once this past year. I broke my teeth on TRF starting about 2000 and well...In my mind I already lived in fantasy, so nice to see it put to work. As for garb, Hanes T-shirts with seams cut off to hand stitched leather and sharp and shinies...We all have done our share of wearing what we have and huzzah to having our personas garbed in what they were meant to be in..*I am still wearing what ever is lying around...just too much I want to settle on any one thing you know* Keep up the digging and remember car pooling is not only good for the environment..it's also good for the...who am I kidding? MOre money saved on gas is more booze. And they said economics wouldn't stick with me.

TripleTap, I will be headed down from Austin/Waco at least for closing weekend. Unfortunately I am going to be out of town for most of the run this year. As we get closer I may add one of the two weekends before closing as well, just have to wait and see. If you want a ride down your welcome to a seat. Not sure how long we will be staying or whether we will head down Friday or Saturday, all the will be decided later.

I know that "Queen Bonnie" lives just east of the Austin area, and goes to TRF every (or nearly every) weekend.
She stays with "C Dragonworks", who lives near TRF.

In the Spring, she was looking for, and found, some Austin area folks to ride-share with when visiting Scarborough Faire.

I will be likely going to TRF on a weekend of Nov 6-7..Will be driving from Austin..Also will be likely going on a Celtic Christmas weekend. Not sure yet if will be staying overnight or going just Saturday but closer to the days, please feel free to send me a renmail if you are looking to share a ride on those weekends.
