Pet peeves and general nsanity

  There's a gripe thread on the IWG similar to this.....If there was or is a similar thread here I haven't found it or it's old. 
  Here's to the rude, thoughtless, or just plain dumb stuff you observe every day...some of the entries can get pretty funny if they weren't so freaking annoying.
   Here goes:

  Just because the candy is in those little bins that you pull the slide/lever to dispense into bags, does NOT mean that the candy is free to dispense into your hand and consume in copious quantities on the spot like some sort of cashfree gumball machine. It's STEALING, plain and simple.
I hope those two eight or nine year old boys who were standing there in the HyVee with cheeks stuffed like squirrels with Mom beaming indulgently at them were sick as dogs on the way home.

Kind of like the lady who opened a box of ice cream sandwiches to give her screaming kid one and put the open box back in the freezer case.

Wow, these are just more examples of why some people shouldn't procreate.  I don't get why people that do things like that aren't nailed for shoplifting.  I think it's worse than walking out the door with merchandise, because it just seems sneakier.

The real kicker was that there was a store clerk standing RIGHT THERE, stocking carrots in the produce bin just 10 feet from the kids. He looked at them, looked around then shrugged and went back to work.  a few seconds later ANOTHER clerk passed by, observed the kids, grinned at the produce dude and also strolled off without doing anything.    Grrr.
   Here's to the old "It's not my job" ethic.

The thing about those store clerks, I bet you that if they had asked them to stop- the mother would have raised a stink and gone to complain to the store manager and the clerk that told them to stop stealing would have gotten into trouble.

Ohhhh I hate those jerks that pretend that they dont know that the left or right lane is about to end and ride it all the way to the front to try and sneak further up the line- I NEVER let those ppl in.

and even though everyone else is waiting in the turning lane for the light the  people who fly past you to get in the straight lane and turn because they are too good to wait in line like the rest of the law abiding folks. i just want some of them to do it in front of the cops

Pet peeve: People who call the school district I work for, have no idea who they need to speak to, or even what department they work for...yet I am supposed to know...there are over 300 employees, in the administration building alone...I sit in the front lobby, can't see anyone, unless they walk up to the front desk...How in the blue blazes am I supposed to know who is where and when they are coming back, or if they are even here...esp. if they don't know who they even need to speak to??

My biggest pet peeve is those who take advantage of people weaker than they are.
Also,at funerals, people who say "If there is anything I can do..." Do they really know what they are saying??
When my sister died, ALL I wanted was her back. Could they do that? So that phrase made me INSANE.

Ahhh... questions, yes.  People who ask a question and then keep interrupting while you try to answer...  Or rhetorical questions.    If you don't actually want an answer, then don't bother to ask!!!

The dumbest thing to ask someone who has just lost a family member is, "How are you doing?"  I HATED that question when my father in law died.  EVERYONE kept asking that and the family would usually just turn and walk away.
