...Now, I could give a fetid pair of dingo's kidneys about Basketbore...er...ball....but what happened in Cleveland did sting...No stellar player goes from 40+  points a game to 15 and then rips his jersey off moments after dropping the game in playoffs...and yah, here in Cleveland we can sound like a bunch of whiners, or someone who just got "dumped" in a relationship...but we were robbed! As with any other relationship, when it's over...you give the stuff back that you got...So, in true "Bounce Back" Cleveland fashion (come on folks, by now...we're used to this!)....Cleveland comes back in our on inevitable way...

Oh what a wonderful website and thing.  My family is originally from Cleveland so I follow their teams it was horrible what he did.
May the stars always shine upon you and yours.

I don't follow sports (I'm pretty much a nerd-type), so I had never even heard of what's-his-name before all of this happened. Nonetheless, it seems like a pretty lame thing to do to thumb your nose at a city that's taken care of you financially...aka, BIG $$$. But these days, I suppose, it's all about "ME" (and I don't mean, me!)

I have a question,
mind you I am not a fan of any particular team - I like watching sports for the sports
Now I live in south florida so I've heard both sides of this.
This guy has been playing for his home team for almost a decade and there is no chance on this earth that playing in that team he is going to have a chance at a championship.
He has given back to the city that he loves and loves him, is it not right that he be able to do what is best for him and go to a team with a better chance at achieving every athlete's goal??

I agree that the way he did it was crap

as a south floridian, a lot of people did the same thing when jason taylor went to the jets a few weeks ago- after swearing that he never would. They did the whole jersey burning thing here too, but after a week nobody is talking about it anymore.

I don't know
the whole thing just seems ridiculous to me.

Oh to be sure...LeBron has done wonderful things for Cleveland (even tho' the guy never tipped when he went out. I've heard from waitressess that they would draw straws to wait on him and his friends because they knew they would never get a tip...and we're talking about parties of 20+ people!) BE THAT AS IT MAY...it was the manner in which it was done...on national television with a big 3 day media hype...It's kinda like having your boy/girlfriend skywrite "I've found someone better...Buh-Bye". I mean, I kinda knew he wouldn't stick around and actually...things are coming out now that shows HE knew waaaay in advance he wasn't going to stick around...it's all about how he did it and how badly he played in the last few games.
As the video says...it happened, we'll get over it and move on...and we have.

Too bad sports and sports figures represent more of the $$$ of the game and not the concept of integrity and teamwork...

That I completely concur with you on Cpt Morgan.

He sold out his loyalties for personal gain.  Sounds like a traitor to me.
I love most sports but the majority of professional athletes strike me as babies that are only out for themselves.  Of course, the owners are no better.  Players swap teams like they are disposable any more.  I liked the old days when a player would stay with a team for most, if not all of his career.  Now that is feat so rare that it is almost nonexistent.
Pro sports today is very disheartening.

Hear, hear....seems loyality doesn't count for squat.

I'd rather have a friend than an athlete...They're more reliable. Just my humble observation and opinion, and it doesn't mean squat.
