When noble, I used a fine brass chain, of course, accessorized the fan quite a bit!  When middle class, just a ribbon, and attached a mirror to the back!

Well, I've decided to  make a beaded holder, teardrop pearls, with smaller blue beads in between.

the thinest I could string it thru is fishing wire..
My q is--at the very end, should I also use fishing wire to loop and hold thru hole?

I would like to reuse this holder to other fans.
Going to sew a loop to fit around my belt, with a Small lobster claw on the back side of the belt.
what other sturdy parts could I use?

What say you?

All my fans are hung from ribbons that match the handles. I tried the brass chain thing, but until I find one small enough to thread through the handle and still not break easily, I'm still using ribbons.
If you string bead on fishing wire, make sure you melt the knots closed especially if you use a lobster clasp for the fastener.

I could not find a thin one to fit thru the handle...so, next best is wire used for jewelry...All done..howere' , I did sew a small loop for my belt and the wire is wrapped tightly around @ top..

Thank Thee for thy suggestions... ;)
