Have to 3rd that - Get to camp as early as possible, throw up the tent and rain fly, then head in.  Unpacking can always be done later if you're anxious to get in - And who isnt'  

And for gloves, Excalibur is up front near the front gate to the right of the coffee shop (Big Purple Umbrellas).  They have very nice and warm leather gloves.  Of which I will be patronizing as I finally wore out my last pair (They were actually used for sword training and saw A LOT of use), Oh and I lost them Highland fling weekend anyway.
