I knew her not personally, but enjoyed her postings here.  I've seen people disappear from forums before without announcing reason, just good-bye, if that.   Might be as simple as no money for computer or internet access. 

For WarCat, I prefer to believe she's found a great passion in her life and is following a different path for now.
