People have mentioned the glitter bombs, religious matters, and such, but I've been wondering if any of the Fae who say, blow bubbles or give out gifts to kids have had any negative feedback? This year at TRF whenever my friend and I started blowing bubbles, I noticed it tended to cause kids to bolt away from their parents and towards us... and I'm pretty sure there are some parents who might see the shiny stones most give out as choking hazards. Anything a fairly new Fae should look out for there?  :-\

I make a big production of asking "do the kids want their stuff now? I've been carrying it for them for a while"  That usually stops the parents too. They are curious about what the stuff is. I stand there and fish through my bag looking for "their" stuff.  I always carry either a bag of glass stones, the 1 inch wide ones, not the small ones or a bag of seashells in various sizes. The bigger the kid (8 9 10 yrs old size) the smaller the shell. The littlest kids get the biggest item in my bag. And I tell them it's for good luck so you should put it in your pocket so you don't lose it. I've also been know to say "No  Nammpppghhhh! Tastes bad!!!"

I have little rubber frogs, snakes, & bugs that I carry around, along with some marbles.  They are rather popular and safer than marbles!
Got faerie dust?

In trying to be "different" than most I opted to hand out little homemade necklaces with silver faeries hanging from them.  Got the idea from my Troll Rhianna :)  Seems to work well, is safe for the wee ones and not hard to make.

Well, uhhh... guess I changed the subject from religion, huh?  :o  My glitter comment was really just meant as a joke...  :-\

There's actually something just a little magical about that bit of glimmer and shine you get on your fingers from one of Twig's favors, or the twinkle on the tip of my little girls nose from the hug she got from Queen Titania... or Queen Bonnie.  :D  I don't even mind the very powdery sort on our garb, but I guess that's also one of the reasons I hesitate to step up into Nobles, or really even upper class merchant.  It's fun to wear pretty things... but I do like not having to worry about what the consequences of a simple hug might be.  :)

I think we'd better start giving hugs by class from now on!  Royals and Nobles first, then Gentry, Merchants and peasants... and THEN our Magical friends!  ;)  Who knew that glitter could lead to segregation?!?  :D

Rani my love, i know youre not saying i am low class... ;)

Savin' the best for last, now ent I?  ;)   :-*

Oh... and eeewww!  Watch out where you're reproducing, there!!!  Do you mean to tell me I've had fertilized Faerie eggs in my eyes?!?  :o  Gaaahhh!!!  :D

Rani, they werent fertilized till they were IN your eye! How do you think different types of fae get made?

The Legion of Decency is about to come shut me down...it's just way too easy for me to come up with dirty thoughts, and at my age I should be ashamed, but I sure am proud that I still remember what dirty thoughts are for!
