I never make AHE since I throw my own Halloween Party at the house (complete with Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster). I think the only time I did make it was briefly two years ago when my costume for the year wasn't working for me so I drove up quickly on that Saturday and bought my red leather...love it when plans fall apart and the wife allows me to spend money lol

lol, i was so excited about attending AHE last year and I ADORE halloween so i just threw an early halloween party and then attended AHE!  So in essence I had my cake and ate it too!

AHE is a really great weekend to make. Not going to lie, I'm pretty bummed about missing it this year.
I'll be having a whole lotta fun up here, first time in years that I'll have Halloween at/near homes and can make a few parties.

Gotta see if I can suck up to Captain Sin about saving some boudin for me and picking it up from somebody the weekend I'll be down there...I'd go to extreme lengths to get some Lousiana boudin from the Bayou Scoundrels...

We only have plans for AHE with McSugganah. Of course we go home at 12,1,2 whenever to sleep. lol Might make a few other day trips like Celtic Christmas. Just got the money going other places right now.

I'm checking out the movie release schedual to find a slow weekend that I can escape to camp.  Made it to Pirate weekend last year and made some good friends at camp and I am trying to get my wife out there with Dad and I this year.  She is very PG (yeah it's from me working in theatre) so we will probly stick to shows and turn in early as well. Dad had visited many different camps last closing weekend so I'll check with him to see if we got any invites for this year.

1.)  The husband and I will be attending 1001 Dreams, me being a Druid and all

2.)  Just the two right now, but we are always up for meeting up with people at the hotel/faire.

3.)  We will be staying at a hotel, which will be booked soon. Go down the night before, stay that night and the next, and then leave a tad early on the last day of faire to get back home in time.

At this point I am not making booms this year. Apparently TRF has seen fit to find somebody else to do the fireworks.  Neither Jeff or Terre have replied to my emails.

Oh well, I will be there for most weekends. Hope to see everyone!
