[The Lady Mercedes]

Inspired by the release of the new Pirates film, here's part 2 of my drinks to try list from the wonderful book 10,000 drinks by Paul Knorr. Again, if there be any who decide to try these here wicked brews, do let us know how they turned out & happy drinking!

1/2 part Jack Daniels
1 part sloe gin
1 part melon liqueur
1 part pineapple juice
Shake w/ice & strain

Black Jack
1 1/2 parts scotch
1 part coffee liqureur
1/2 part triple sec
1/2 part lemon juice

Black Jack #2
2 parts Grand Marnier
1/2 part Coffee liqueur
Splash brandy

Blue Bayou
2/3 part blue curacao
1/2 part coffee liqueur
1 1/2 parts dark rum
1 part orange juice
1 part lemon juice

Caribbean Cuise
3/4 part dark rum
3/4 part Tia Maria
3/4 part coconut cream
1 part orange juice
1 part pineapple juice

Caribbean Kiss
1/2 part dark rum
1/2 part amaretto
1/2 part coffee liqueur
1 part cream
Dash cinnamon
Dash brown sugar

3/4 part spiced rum

3 parts gin

2 parts Jack Daniels
Splash cherry juice
2 parts sour mix
2 maraschino cherries
1 orange wedge

Jolly Roger
1 part dark rum
1 part banana liqueur
2 parts lemon juice
Shake w/ice & strain

Mutiny
1/2 parts dark rum
1/2 parts Dubonnet Rouge
2 dashes bitters
Shake w/ice & strain

Scallywag
3 parts light rum
1 part blue curacao
1 part Galliano
1 part lime juice
Shake w/ice & strain

Caribbean Sling
2 parts light rum
1 part triple sec
Splash simple syrup
Fill w/club soda
Build over ice & stir

Crocodile (you'll see why further down)
1 part citrus flavored rum
2 parts melon liqueur
Fill w/club soda
Build over ice & stir

Golden Pirate
3 parts dark rum
Fill w/ginger ale
build overice & stir

Scottish Pirate
1 part scotch
1/2 part orange liqueur
1/2 part creme de cassis
3 parts sour mix
Fill w/club soda
Shake all but club soda w/ice & strain into the glass. Top w/club soda.

Swashbuckler
1 1/2 parts spiced rum
1 part cola
Fill w/club soda
1/4 lime juice
Build over ice & stir

Captain Hook (see, told ya! Lol)
1 part gin
1/2 part amaretto
1/2 partstrawberry liqueur
1 part orange juice
1 part peach juice
Shake w/ice & strain over ice

Caribbean Breeze
2 parts coconut flavored rum
1 part vodka
Fill w/orange juice
Splash grenadine
Build over ice & stir

Caribbean Queen (now we're living the same dream...sorry, I just had to do it. I was born in the 80's what do you expect? lol)

1/2 part coconut flavored rum
1 1/2 parts triple sec

Splash lemon juice
Build over ice & stir

Caribbean Screwdriver
1/2 part peach schnapps
1/2 part creme de banana
1/2 part coconut flavored rum
2 parts orange juice
1 part pineapple juice
Splash cream
build over ice & stir

Emerald Caribbean
3/4 part melon liqueur
1/4 part creme de banana
3/4 part blue caracao
2 parts pineapple juice
1 part orange juice
Shake w/ice & pour

Gibbs
1 part vodka
1 part watermellon schnapps
Fill w/lemon-lime soda
Build over ice & stir

Pirate's Revenge
1 part cachaca
1/2 part blue curacao
1/2 part coconut flavored rum
Splash vanilla extract
1 part pineapple juice
1 part orange juice
Shake w/ice & pour

Pirate's Treasure
2 parts spiced rum
1 1/2 parts Crown Royal
Fill w/cola
Build over ice & stir

Blackbeard
1 part spiced rum
1 part root beer schnapps
Fill w/cola

Captain Caribbean
1 part spiced rum
1 part coconut flavored rum
1 part strawberry liqueur
Fill w/orange juice
Build over ice & stir

Caribbean Bliss
1 part vodka
1 part tequila
Fill with orange juice
Build over ice & stir

Caribbean Chat
1 part spiced rum
1/4 part creme de cacao (white)
1 part orange juice
1 part club soda
Build over ice & stir

Gay Pirate (say wha?!  )
1 part apricot brandy
1 part 151-proof rum
1 part coconut flavored rum
Splash lemon juice
Fill w/pineapple juice
Shake w/ice & strain over ice

Pirate Float
1 part spiced rum
1 part root beer schnapps
1 part vanilla flavored vodka
1 part cream
Shake w/ice & pour

Pirate Jenny
1 1/2 parts light rum
1 part orange liqueur
Splash lime juice
Splash simple syrup
Fill w/pineapple juice
Shake w/ice & pour

Treasure Hunt
1 part creme de menthe (green)
1 part whiskey
1/2 part sugar
Shake w/ice & strain over ice

And just for this thread:

Port of Call
2 parts coconut flavored liqueur
1 part lime juice
2 parts orange juice
Fill w/pineapple juice
Combine all ingredients in a blender w/ice. Blend until smooth.

Don't bother with Bacardi Torched Cherry Rum.  It tastes like Robutussin.

My favorite is peach schnapps with ice cold apple juice or mango Gatorade, or even cherry Koolaide. It's the most refreshing drink you'll ever have.
