Can someone point me in the right direction?

I've just started sewing again, having been gifted with a new sewing machine, and lots of babies on the way (which means lots of baby quilts to be made!). But, I also want to start sewing some of my own garb finally, because, dangnubbit, it's expensive stuff if you can't do some of the smaller bits yourself.

Perhaps some of you might be able to point me in the right direction for a decent pattern for a pirate coat, or even some decent chemises as well?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I REALLY like this men's pattern as well.  The cuffs can be a bit vexing...the first 8 or so times you do it...but other than that, it's pretty easy.  I figure if you have quilting down, you can handle this with no sweat.  Pirate Bob has found that the breeches need to be lengthened a bit to tuck into his boots (he doesn't like to wear the tall socks), but other than that it's pretty spot on size wise.
As for the women's...I've only made the dress once, and in cheap fabric...so I can say it fit well...but didn't hold up.  Better fabric would work better I'm sure.
