SCABoots, what's up there?

Say, I keep reading terrific things about SCA Boots and they are running a great sale at the moment.  However, everything (except size 7) is listed as backordered.  A phone call was greeted with a message that said they were often in the warehouse and would get back to me - and didnt.  An email was greeted with silence.

The sale is good enough, along with the apparent reputation, that I'd probably place the order for Size 11 Sir Henry's and wait, but, I can't tell if they are still even in business (alot of good folks dropping out these days).

Anyone have an idea what's going on with them?

If you look at the top of their website, they have left this message: "We have been closed due to an unforseen family emergency. We will re-open Friday and call everyone back. Thank you for your patience during the closure."

I would assume you'll hear back at the end of this week?

Thank you Lady Rebecca,

This may attest to the power and importance of the R/F website.  The banner message you mention wasn't there when I made my post (and hasnt been for the several weeks I've been wrestling with what to do).  I wouldnt be a bit surprised if a friend of the company who frequents this board tipped them off that they had gone inexplicitly and unexpectedly dark... and that folks were noticing.

Completely understandable in a family emergency.

I appreciate you having a look and letting me know it is now out there.  I might not have gone back to the site again for quite some time.
