Interesting fact about Spooky--

Spooky was originally an instrumental song by saxophonist Mike Sharpe (Shapiro) which first charted in 1967. Its best known version was created by The Classics IV when guitarist James Cobb and producer Buddy Buie added lyrics in 1968.

Cobb (along with bandmates Robert Nix and Dean Daughtry) later became part of the Atlanta Rhythm Section and re-recorded "Spooky" in 1979.

I prefer ARS's version but hey, that is just me.

I knew that ARS were a group of studio musicians.
The original singer was Ronnie Hammond. I heard the replacement. He's passable but not as good as Hammond.

Got to see them in Largo a few years ago. A 300 seat venue, got fourth row center!

One of the bands I played with in High school practiced in a little barn across the street from where some of the members of Firefall lived. They actually came over to see us a couple times.
I hear they have released, or are going to release a new album.
