I think the bacon is just a really thick piece on a stick with a roll under it to catch the grease!

This weekend I ate:

Ham and cheese quiche from Queens pantry- DELICIOUS!
BBQ baked potato that I made in crock pots in my RV... managed to make it taste pretty close to the loaded spud I grabbed before parade every day last year... love those things!
2 chocolate dipped cheesecakes on a stick... one for each day- to die for
Fully loaded bratwurst from wursthaus in Germany- delicious as always
sausage kolache from queens pantry- great until the rain soaked the bread through!

That was all... I can't wait to get home to my Royal Hamburg at some point next weekend. Come to the Arborhaus and eat... if for no other reason than to support them because they are LOVELY people. SO friendly. I love my Arborhaus family!

I only got around to having a Strawberry and Nutella crepe, but it was way yummy.
And tho not actual faire food, I was pleasantly surprised with the English Pub burger at Mickey D's.
We don't have those in DFW.

Next weekend I will make like Anthony Bourdain and TRY ALL THE FOODS!

I found my new favorite food out at faire Pork and Chicken Souvlaki!!!  It's SOOOOO good!

It is extremely rare when I order the same thing twice in a weekend. I don't think I have ever bought the same thing three times in a weekend until this past weekend.
I bought the Cajun fried chicken on a stick three times. It wasn't a meal by itself, but more of a holdover until I ate lunch/dinner/breakfast. Perfectly cooked, perfectly flavored. It isn't spicy hot at all (which is generally a drawback to me) so those who might be afraid of things with the word Cajun in them can feel safe there. Not certain why I never got it before except that is just not normal faire food to me. That would be food I cook at home lol.

Had the Pulled Pork Sundae twice this weekend!  Oh man it is sooo good.  In a cup, one layer of mashed potatoes, roasted pulled pork and gravy, then layer mashers and pork again.  drool...

They sell it in the Spanish section at the booth where you can get the empenadas.  AND IT IS AWESOME LOL!
