Sigh. I took a bad fall while walking my dog this morning, and scraped up... pretty much everything. The palms of both hands, one elbow, one hip, knee, and shin. I'm covered in Neosporin and bandaids, and doing pretty much anything with my hands is out. I was going to finish hemming my curved front dress and wear it to Fair this afternoon, but now I'm just sittin' here feelin' sorry for myself. Ow.

It was probably the universe telling me to take it easy (since I've been so busy the last few weeks with work/Fair/family holidays/etc). I have GOT to learn to listen to the universe's more subtle messages!! Such a bummer, though, because I was already going to miss two weekends for work travel.  :(

Ok. Milord's home with the Advil now. LOL

Excellent time to do research, update website or write a long blog entry?

I know, I know... It sucks. And it hurts. I hope you'll have a speedy recovery.  :(

Ouch, that's never fun. I hope you feel better soon :-)

No wonder I haven't seen you yet!  I end up staying through the parade, then must leave.  I shall, however, be there all day on 24 Sep and on Columbus Day.  I'm looking at going to the Feast of Fools on the 24th.  Hope you get well soon!  Lemme teach you how to fall sometime, to help minimize your injury.

Lady Kathleen of Olmsted

You'll be back to sewing in no time, gem. Fight the guilt and take care of those scrapes.
