Hello all.
So I just found out my mother in law wants suggestions about what to get me for Christmas.
My first thought was to give her a list of sewing books to add to my collection.

I thought we could share here some suggestions of books you have that you would recommend everyone should have, or books you've always wanted but haven't gotten yet.
Obviously it'd be nice if they weren't those rare out of print books but feel free to share those too - you never know what you might find at a thrift store.

Here is what I have so far- I would love any suggestions to add to this
or comments about the ones I already have listed if you have experience with it.
;D

Corsets and hats are the two things I have been dying to learn to make for years.

I forgot a couple of books- problem with keeping too many things on my amazon lists :)

I have that McCunn book, and I don't love it. I think the pattern block instructions at Renaissance Tailor are more useful, but if you're interested in garment manufacture from an industrial design side, it might work for you (it feels like a textbook for a garment design course more than a practical guide to drafting patterns for a home seamstress).

On my list is the new book(let) from the Tudor Tailor folks.
