As of this past weekend, my whole faire season is now in doubt.  Probably won't make Opening... AHE is up in the air... and Highland/Closing is looking to be in the hopper.

I've never hoteled it but I do hear that you don't wat to book anything close.  On the flip side of that TRF is working with hotels in the area and is providing a shuttle service.

Merlin, we try stay here most of the time...not overly close to faire but there are few places really close and we are never so firm on our schedule that we can make a reservation too far in advance! On the other hand, feel free to search for hotels close to faire and there are not a ton, so it's not THAT far, all things considered.
