Hotel recommendations?

Merlin, we try stay here most of the time...not overly close to faire but there are few places really close and we are never so firm on our schedule that we can make a reservation too far in advance! On the other hand, feel free to search for hotels close to faire and there are not a ton, so it's not THAT far, all things considered.

I like that Best Western, but dropping a c-note every weekend that I travel down is a bit much for me.
I usually stay here when I come down.
It's not terribly spiffy, but it usually only runs 60 bucks, there's a Spec's, a HEB, and multiple gas stations right at that intersection, not to mention the great little pub directly next door.
Usually takes me 45 minutes or so to get in to faire from there, and plus whatever starbucks or breakfast stops I make.

Yeah... cross Laird Nasty and myself off for Opening.  Laird Nasty is moving up to OK, for job ops and school.  We'll both be in attendence for All Hallows, (as of now... subject to change) and possible day tripping for Closing.  I may make it out for a day trip during Highland... 

We will be brewing our last batch of Loki, together, tonight.  I may brew a couple myself but i don't think there will be any mass production like in years past.
