I was poking about Ebay and came across listings for Laser Cut Masks. Although somewhat pricey to outrageously pricey, they certainly are exquisite. Presented for your entertainment....

Wow.  For the amount of cuts there, I couldn't do that by hand for ten times the price.

I've admired those too!  Can you imagine the price if it was made by traditional handmade methods?  I.e., wire twisted and soldered by hand.  I doubt I could afford it, but I'd sure love to see one.

I am surprised at how inexpensive those are.

I have a laser cutter- its what I do for a living, but my laser cutter can't handle metal. The cheapest laser cutter that  can handle metal is at least $100,000 USD.

Makes me think that these guys do a lot of metal cutting ,and do this for giggles, probably takes under a minute in their machine.
Realistically, its not that expensive, I find them very reasonably priced actually for what they are.
If I were to do that in leather, even cut in the laser, I would be charging at least double that (granted the leather would require more manual labor to get it ready and then finish it properly.)

I saw several styles of laser cut masks at Target for around $15.  Pretty good for the price, but the ones you linked on eBay are even better!  Exquisite, really.

I actually bought one of the metal laser cut ones.  I had planned to wear it with a fairy costume this year but plans have kind of changed and I don't think I'll be wearing my fairy garb.

Those are amazing!  I didn't think they were all that expensive, either, compared to some I've seen in cheap plastic...
