"The King's Feast" and other such feasts at faire
« on: October 17, 2012, 04:57:26 PM »
Tell me all about them.  Are they worth attending?  The one I am pondering is for ages 18 and up.

Gramercy.

Feast of Fantasy at MNRF is well worth it.

Last year they added special feasts with special performers or guests.

I've gone at least once a year since it began well over 20 years ago.

I will be going to the Alabama feast this coming Saturday.  There is also one in Ocean Springs that I have attended at least 3 times.

I wish more faires had them, they are quite wnjotable.

I usually go to one each year at KCRF.  Didn't make it this year, but they changed the format to a Robin Hood story.  Meh, not what I wanna see.
The one at the MN RenFest is FANTASTIC!
Yes, go to it.  They are pretty nice.  Since the one you're considering is 18+, that tells me they may have adult jokes during the show.  That can make it fun!
Enjoy!

I have to throw in my agreement about the Feast of Fantasy at MNRF.  My husband HATES Fest and Fest related talk, HOWEVER, get him going on how awesome the Feast is and he talks non-stop and very excitedly about it!  That's a WIN in my book!

It is possible, however I am TERRIBLE with names but I recognize faces and garb extremely well.
