Hey folks!! I know you can help! I need to find just a couple more yards of this metallic gold trim. I don't care if it's online or at a hole-in-the-wall fabric store, if you have seen it or can find it I would be eternally grateful! (If someone does find it at a store and can send it to me I'll throw in a finders fee as well as reimbursing you!!)

It's a metallic gold of a more greener-tinted yellow gold tone (if that makes sense) and you can see the scale in the photo.

Let me know if you find it!!! Thanks friends!

You aren't going to believe this!  I read this post yesterday, then last night I sat by the fire to finish some knitting.  We still have our Christmas decorations up because our son and his wife couldn't come home this year for Christmas, but the arrived on Saturday for a week, so we are celebrating this week.

I happened to look at our Christmas stockings hung up, and one of them has the exact same trim!  Alas, it's about 5 inches, but as I was looking at it, I said to myself, "I've just seen that somewhere.  Where?"   And then it dawned on me that you had posted the picture.  If it had been trimmed all over, I would have gladly sent you the stocking, but like I said, it's way too small for what you need.

No luck on cheeptrims.com, but thanks for the tip!

Lady Renee, thank you for the sentiment! I have been looking at Christmas decorations in the clearance sections and at goodwills verrrrrry closely for just such a happenstance...

Gem that trim is a dead ringer for what I need and I would go with it but it's too dark of a gold :( I didn't see a lighter gold version in that store either.

The hunt continues!!
