our celebration will begin at 8:30pm-wee hours of the night.

we need drummers, dancers, and fire spinners.

Harriet, our volunteer coordinator, will be standing by at the Trip Pub Saturday morning with our wish-list of work needed. Most concerns getting things setup for the Summer Camp three weekends.

We need folks with implements of landscaping (weed-wackers, rakes, shovels, etc.)

I need several folks skilled (i.e., folks who can safely use them) in chainsaw usage. My stockpile of firewood at the Seven Sisters is seriously depleted. I find that I am no longer physically able to cut and haul the necessary wood. We have a few stockpiles of dropped trees (in the general campgrounds and by the showers) that need to be hauled out and cut. Two large trees across from Chaos need to be cut to firewood length. There are several dead trees in the quiet/family campgrounds. Suggest one chainsaw operator and two helpers (who are also safety observers). Wear long pants, shirts, gloves, boots, etc. due to the "critters".

I will be onsite Thursday evening and opening the campgrounds Friday when I see folks waiting.

Due to the dry conditions, please don't have open fires in the campgrounds. Coleman type stoves and lanterns are fine. If it has a bare flame (firepit, tiki torch, etc.) please don't use.

I will have my new Mule hauling a trailer that can move people to the necessary areas and move the cut wood to the Seven Sisters (and possibly move "slightly" intoxicated folks down to the Saturday night celebration at the Seven Sisters). We will evaluate the weather (wind) Saturday before lighting the bonfire.

Don't forget your swimsuits and towels. We will have a water slide to cool off with.
