I'd love to see photos, if you have them!

For some reason, the photos on Lynn's site have gone really tiny and hard to make out. Has anyone here made:

The flat cap?

Or

The German hat? (The actual hat, not the gold caul that's included. I have the solo pattern for that already.)

I know we've had some folks make the tall hat/s... what's the verdict on those?

Lynn McMasters Hat patterns are some of the BEST on the market. I have made many hats from them for me and the Earl, for clients.

Me and the Earl. One of my earlier French Hoods and Tall Hat, now retired.

Here are a few more Hats I made variations of using parts of the patterns to get a different look.

A King James I hat with a wider brim and tilt upwards. I used the Tall Hat pattern making the brim  1 1/4" wider.

My TITANIC Edwardian hat using the Edwardian pattern. I also use this pattern for cavalier styled hats as well, making the brim narrower. Good for Pirate hats too.

A Henry VIII Tudor Cap modifying the brim for the Men's Italian Bonnet and a larger circle for the Crown.

Thanks, Lady K! Those are spectacular!!

No reviews on the German hat? I found a photo of a hat for sale on etsy that sort of looks similar, but from the pattern photo Lynn's German doesn't seem to resemble any other German/Saxon hat I've seen, either in period artwork or on re-enactors.

I'd feel more confident if I could get some better pictures....

THank you, gem.

Lynn's patterns are worth the money. They can be adapted to get a variety of looks because they all follow the same procedure to make. Heavy duty buckram or Plastic Canvas, Millinery wire, bias Tape, and fabrics for the  hat and linings.
