How do I carry my Parasol?

I finally got my parasol!  My Lord Bogie bought me a canvas one at our first visit to CoRF this year  :-*  Now the question becomes how to carry it?  I would rather have it hanging from my hidden utility belt but I'm struggling to visualize a carrier for it.  Would you lovely ladies share some photos of how you carry your parasol?  Any pictures you might find of a parasol hanging off of a belt would be most welcomed!

wonderful thank you!  My search for parasol on the forums was unsuccessful...too many mentions I think.

I sewed a sleeve for mine.  It has a loop on the top that slides over my belt.  You could add a clip to it to attach to the utility belt.  The parasol slides in and out of the sleeve.
I hang mine on my left hip.  Just have to be careful when sitting down that you pick it up so you don't break the handle.  Works for me but i dress mainly in mid-class to lower.

Can be made in same fabric as your skirt or made of contrast fabric.

You could also make a strap to carry it with...Just take a 1" wide by 12" long piece of leather...fold it over and fasten it at around 4" mark then cut a 2 1/2" slit in it for the handle to slip through and your done!

So what are you doing this weekend?
I'm going to BARF!!!
You're going to...wait...WHAT???

I love the bracer idea...I have a couple of sets from my pirate days, and a nice silk parasol I don't like to carry.

The strap idea is pretty, but I would add something to the handle to make it wider and less likely to slip off, like a hook or a collar of sorts.

I have used a silk cord tied in a loop and half hitched through a belt, bodice laces, or a ring , then use the same knot on the parasol handle.  The weight of the parasol will keep the knot from loosening and sliding over the narrow handle.  It worked OK until I could get a more permanent solution when I first bought mine.
You could also braid a cord over the handle, like a grip, gluing  it down as you go, and tying it off onto a loop.  Attach the loop to a hook or mug strap.  I've used this one for fans.

Thank you everyone for your wonderful feedback!  I think I've decided to give the bracer idea a try for starters.  Images to come :)
