A post on Facebook by a member of the Minnesota Costumers Guild  posted that ALL Mill End Textiles stores in the US are set to Go Out of Business. Liquidation sales are set to begin Nov.3rd.

That means if there is fabric you need to start or finish a project, this would be the time to buy it. I have been looking for a good wool for a cloak. I have plenty of stash for garb.

I do need fabric for mundane clothing now that I have lost 35 pounds.

I will be making the 2.5 hour drive to the nearest location to stock up on any and everything I could ever need.

Our Mill End Textiles Store was packed with people buying up fabric for Quilting, Fleece Blankets, Christmas Crafts, Costumes, etc. ALL Fabric, Notions, threads, patterns, etc., is marked 30% off at the Cash Register.

I arrived at mine at Noon. The store opened up 15 minutes earlier. There were no carts to be had, as they were all taken. I did manage to find some Black Corduroy, and a few other things that took me 40 minutes to find, but waited in line for 90 minutes.

I guess I was not that hard up for fabric because what I was looking for, Mill End did not have. But I am glad I went and spent over 2 hours to get what I did find.

How was it at your location?

Have no made it down yet, but I will be trying a few of the Twin Cities locations, Burnsville and Eden Prairie for sure.  We are aiming for tomorrow, but with jobs who knows if that will for sure happen.
