Stroud, OK August Faire?
« on: July 10, 2008, 11:43:58 PM »
I heard some scuttlebutt tonight from my sister-in-law's boyfriend.  He said that the "Oklahoma Event Guide" (tourbook thing) lists a Renaissance Festival in Stroud during the first weekend of August.  Has anyone heard about this?  I couldn't find anything on Google about it.  Has David Timmons revived the King Arthur Faire (my favorite faire of all time)?

Never mind.  This was a case of bad editing in the "Oklahoma Events Guide".  The event was a monthly exhibition of a working Medieval village in Stroud, not an actual faire.  These were held last year at the KAF site.  Sadly, that site closed down last fall permanently.  These monthly events were not taken out of the 2008 guide.
