So I somehow managed to find out that Owain Phyfe was giving a performance tonight in Denver near Regis University.  I was also lucky enough to have the day off, so I hauled my dad along to see him perform as he's one of my favorites at the festival and it's always a pleasure to hear him sing.  Anyway, it was beautiful of course.  I took a lot of videos (and asked him personally if it was all right to put them up, so no worries) and am uploading them to YouTube, if you'd like to take a listen.

Here's the first, more are to come.

I couldn't believe I happened to find an entry for his little performance in the Westword!  He's awesome.

How odd you should mention it. Just last night, I happened on a whole slew of O.P. videos, whilst looking for Cantiga videos. This guy/gal posted them: DJTrajix
on YouTube.

He is the reason we go to the Michigan Ren Faire. I'm happy for you to be able to see him at another venue.

Here's another one.  I think the song is titled "Fugi, Fugi, Fugi," but it's really the joke that comes before the song that is the fun part.  Sorry I laughed so much right into the mic, it was so funny though.

I was fortunate enough to see him perform at the TnRF a couple of years back, he is fantastic, I wished he'd come back and perform there again.

I love the Owain Phyfe jokes, even tho' I've heard them a 100 times. He is the most professional, most talented and gracious to other musicians(i've heard some rumors, but only ever seen his good side). We love the revel at MiRF on the Jewel Stage, not the Pub.

Thanks for posting the videos. They have good sound and you got better at holding your hand still and being quiet with every one. I couldn't do that.
