Let me be the first to welcome you to Rendevous 2009 at MDRF. On behalf of the entire MDRF crew it will be our pleasure to host such a dynamic group of faire folk such as yourselves.

Below are the projected dates for the 2009 season at MDRF. The dates are solid but the themed weekends are not. All I can offer you is what has transpired in years past. My suggestion is that you vote for the weekend that is best for you and not the theme, for the themed weekends will not be posted until close to the New Year.

That said ... this is a living thread and will be updated often. Below you will see the dates up for vote. Once you have voted for the date I will post your name below that date so that everyone can see the progress of the voting and make the voting transparent. Check back here (page one) often to ensure your vote has been properly tabulated. I will do my best to update this thread each day, but I do travel a bunch so if I miss a day (or two) please do not panic, I will get it updated swiftly.
The rules:
Only one vote per person here
Voting will start today (22 July) and last for 1 calendar month, ending on August 22 August.
Think about your vote please, for changing it will not happen - once you vote, that is it.
This is not a place to politic, please vote for the date and be done with it.
This is not a place for banter ... stick to voting only ... please.
If you have questions email me for the answer ... anything that seems like a fair question I will post below in red for the benefit of the whole.

Let the voting begin ....

MDRF runs for 9 consecutive weekends (19 days over all). The faire starts each year the weekend before Labor Day and extends until the third weekend in October. As you can see, if the voting ends at the end of August - this gives everyone 1 YEAR to prepare.
For more information about MDRF, please visit their site at http://www.rennfest.com/

Oct 10-11  (cooler, less traffic, hotel $$ a bit less - not a big weekend for the Naval Academy - and Monday is a holiday for Scotsman)

Questions on this thread should be email to me ... to keep the thread clean.

That said, this has nothing to do with the M'Cracks, this is a Rendevous vote only.

I will vote for Oct   10-11  -

I know that we have r/f members that can not take memorial or labor day weekends off (some teachers and law enforcement) and think they should have the opportunity to attend.
