New toy project - could use some help
« on: March 25, 2014, 10:31:22 AM »
Last year my family and I joined one of the reenactment guilds that helps with the local faires. Keeping the kids busy for a full day can get a bit difficult. There are a few groups that have wooden castles and such for kids to play with, and I was thinking it would be neat to do something similar. However, I would like to try to keep as period as possible. If anyone could help gather examples of period childrens toys, I would love to be able to compile research on such, and try my hand at making not just period friendly, but actually period toys. It could also be a great resource for others who find themselves in similar situations.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with catsup.
