Want to... but going in to faire means mroe than just the price of tickets... I am a shop-aholic... and my two younger kids looooove the pretty things available for purchase... we always wind up spending at least a few hundred more than the cost of tickets... lol... and hubby said no-go (he's a frugal budget oriented man... and I love him for it, even when he tells me no)... we have our budget for shopping on closing weekend... and he agreed to all three days of faire that weekend... but he said camping yes... faire, probably not...

I LOVE faire... I'd go every weekend if I could... but alas... darn responsibility set in somewhere around 30 and I can't make it go away...  :D

Lady Ann of Draycott

Responsibility...hmmm...what's that  ???

j/k...I understand now...especially considering what I spend last weekend...  ;) :-[

that's cool...hope you will join us anyway!  ;D

Hey, I fully understand that responsibility thing, and it sucks ROCKS IMO, but I also have to deal with it. Come on out and join us.

Also Blue, count us in for camping for All Hallow's Eve 2 tents and 4 people. If there's no rain that is.......
Don't forget to smell the roses, but watch out for the thorns!

Then 'tis settled... Count us in for 1 large tent plus 1 pup tent - 5 heads total for all hallows weekend ... (not entering faire... jsut camping and getting to know as many of you lovely people as we can... and having fun)

Still 1 large tent, probably 3 pup tents - 7 heads total for closing weekend (entering faire and having fun and camping and anything else I can get into... lol)

I want everyone to know that we are going to be a VERY large group for Halloween weekend.  In order to fit everyone in we are asking that unless your trailer has to be connected to your truck please park across in the parking lanes and carry your things over to the campgrounds.

We drive a mini-van... and shall park our carriage across the way... however, is it ok to temporarily park closer to unload?  That stuff gets heavy... lol

I was just thinking we'd have to do that Lady J.

Well, I'll be there all day Friday, so no problems with unloading the car and then parking across the street.

Okay, last addition for MollyGrue, I swear. ;)

When I come to visit and introduce myself on crazy Hallow's Eve, I will be bringing with me my company (a middle-aged father and two tween-age girls). We will all most likely have bellies full of turkey legs, and will not mooch off the products of the McLotofus fire(unless it is asked or demanded of us to do so). I just wanted to make it clear that it won't be just me when I saunter over, just so that no one freaks out. So again, don't worry about including my party in any headcounts, including Pirate Weekend when I will actually be camping, not with the McLotofus by definition, but nearby for protection.

okay, end transmission.

Anyone coming to visit the McLotofus camp after Faire will be ordered to eat (I'm looking at you, Element of Air) on pain of a Yeti Shower.

Do we noob's need to bring anything? I just have a hard time taking food without doing something in return. My only talent is that I used to dance at a ladies bar. But that far into the past. End sarcasm.

But really do we need to bring anything? I cant imagine the cost for z.

There is a till you can toss some bucks into for Z to help defray cost of it all.  May be called a "tip" jar too.

I'd say that's a talent worth exploring around a campfire...  :o

Tanyor

Thanks for the tip.  :o

Make me feel better for eating someone's food.

Tanyor

Ohh man my sarcasm got me into a huge mess again. :-\ I'll go and sit in my corner and shutup.

I have a feeling this isn't going to go away anytime soon either.
