Roll Call for McLotofus Camping

Greetings Friends!

I have been meaning to get on here and express my undying thanks to all of the McLotofus crew that were so *incredibly* helpful and welcoming to myself and my friends on All Hallow's Even weekend!! 

We received help in setting up our tents and felt entirely comfortable and safe amongst you all!

We had a wonderful time, and if it wasn't for some obnoxious and irresponsible drunkards behind the McLotofus grounds on Saturday night, we would have slept peacefully amongst the company of friends! However, awakening to the sound of guttural vomit at 5 in the morning caused a bit of grumpiness in the tent. When we heard a car start up and saw the lights shine into our tent, I must admit, we were a bit concerned that we were about to be flattened by a drunkard in a vehicle. If anyone towards the back of the group was awakened by that, please be assured it was not us!

Also, I must apologize that we were not as openly social as we should have been... as there were some TRF virgins in the group (one was flogged as an introduction on Friday night - to much of my amuzement, but not so much to his fiance!), and some of us are quite shy to begin with. I hope to return next year, more prepared and knowing what to expect, and hopefully we can be a more social and helpful group within McLotofus.

Again, many many MANY thanks from all of us, and to anyone thinking of camping with McLotofus - you shall not be disappointed. This is a fantastic group of people, and some of the most friendly people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

Mine and my husbands tent was right next to yours.  We were indeed awoken by the same thing.  They were so close to us that I was worried the a*@hole was going to get vomit on our tent.  Thankfully he did not.  I too was concerned that he would run us over, so I got up and watch them out our window while they were backing up and leaving.  Did you see the mess they left!  It was awful.  Several cars the next morning ran over glass bottles.

Lady Ann of Draycott, Sir Trent and Master Dillon will be camping with McLotofus for Highland Fling weekend.

The Lady Trinn and I shall be there as well.
We intend to get up at the crack of noon and head on down there before the crowds get to thick.
How was the no-tape weekend? I have heard some worrisome stories...

Lady Kitara, Faerie Princess Elissa and myself will be camping with McLotofus this weekend.  Not sure if we'll go out Thursday night or early Friday morning.

I will be out as well, and I will voulenteer my services as camp cook, I'll be out there about 1-2pm on friday.  If it looks like a lot of people for highland fling, I may make a seperate thread so we can have a good head county.

Hmmm......

Highland Fling means Scotch and Haggis, right? Maybe not. I'll also help with cooking if you needs extra hands. I'm quite skilled with the sharp/pointies.
