That's a shame!  Well, remember, if you stay for the fireworks, come hang out at the campsite while the traffic dies down  :)

No menu posted as of yet, since I'm really still waffling on it, but I think it will be...

Friday Night:
Chili

Sat Morning:
Eggs with sausage, potatoes and peppers (no, no real prep, Jimmy Dean Scramblers)

Sat Night:
Poor Man's Beef Stroganoff (dairy, if anyone is lactose intolerant)

Sun Morning:
Same

I'm trying to go very light on the prep work this weekend, i.e., I'm making the chili tonight, and any cutting of ingredients will get done tomorrow.  I may pick up one more thing, a Coleman Coffee Maker today (I have been looking at them for a while now) for coffee since the percolator I have is a piece of crapola.  I will leave by sunday afternoon, so sunday dinner will have to be on your own.  If you want to add to this, please feel free, too much is better than not enough!

Food sounds yummy Aiacha!  ;)  Thanks for volunteering to be our camp cook!  :-*  We really appreciate it.  If you need anything or any help at all, please let us know!!!

I'm going to really aim to be up by 7 so that I can get stuff done for people who want to make cannon.

Good luck with that. I try to get started by 05:30 and you know how much trouble I have getting breakfast out in time for people to eat, get dressed and make cannon. Hopefully you won't be making things from scratch like I do..... ::)

do we still need a fire pit? i have one, just debating if i should take it. wieght is an issue. the pit and wood would add some unwanted weight.. but, id bring it for sure, if some others would bring some wood.

Oh no, I'm not doing it by scratch.  Everything is pre-prepared or out of a package for me.  Jimmy Dean makes these scramblers, where everything is cut up and ready to go.  It won't be as good as yours, but it'll be edible.  Heck, even the chili's already made.

Yes Dave!  We will need a fire pit.  Don't worry about wood though as MacLaren is bringing that.

I just want to thank everyone who donated to the "Replace the EZUp" fund again.  It is very, very appreciated.  Hopefully I'll be able to replace it before New Years to use in the backyard.

The cold weather notwithstanding, I think the weekend still went well and I did still have a good time.  Very glad to have weather to wear my pirate coat in!
