Chirpping of crickets?
« on: June 14, 2015, 09:20:06 PM »
Nothing important, I just don't like seeing the Sherwood section in no-new-posts status for so long.

Of course, lots of Sherwoodians are busy working getting ready for the campers soon, building large platforms, and cleaning up dropped tree limbs and such.  Some are still resting from Scarby; or getting ready for more gatherings in the woods, Celtic at Sherwood; and even planning for TRF.  But then comes SHERWOOD FAIRE!

Thinking about the cold mornings in camp, coffee in hand, sitting with a few other early risers, helps when I walk outside into the furnace that is Texas summer. :o

Also the 3 sessions of the Sherwood Forest youth summer camp are starting up soon.  The first run is July 5-10.  I don't have kids - just helping out during part of that run with photos.

Don't know if they've got an adult summer camp this year or not - they did last year.
