If anyone can help us come up with the money for the ransom we would greatly appreciate it. The empire's coffers are already strained, and this demand far exceeds what remains within them.

I have of course informed the DBI who says again that "Inquiries are proceeding."

I can't tell you the the madness that has over taken the empire.   Our Empress is looking paler and paler everyday without Darkke, she's nearly whiter than me now!  This Ducknapping has thrown off all my social schedules for the Empire and I don't like my schedules to be thrown off.  I can assure you that the Empire is working diligently to find Darkke.  Any persons of interest are being put through a through questioning.  My whipping arm has never seen this much action.  Once again I must stress that the Empress is doing everything within her power to find Darkke and we are asking anyone with any information should come and speak with someone from the Empire without delay.  Thank you, that will be all.

I have a pet theory... that maybe Rummie was stolen by someone who didn't believe he would go with them if they didn't win the loki challenge.
Perhaps the contest entrants should be checked into, starting with those who were last near to Rummie.

I don't think that it would be of any use to check Lady Jessica and myself. The Empress loves the Captain of her Guard very dearly. Why would I hurt my own minions? What kind of Empress would that make me? You can obviously tell that the crazy mundane had *some* sort of role in this ducknapping. You can tell by her qild eyes and odd hairstyle. We're searching her out as we speak, and will report when said perp is apprehended.

It looks like he's being held in a dungeon. I don't know of any in Houston, maybe a few basements in the Brays Bayou area. I hope he isn't found like the other guy in the picture.

Whoever ducknapped our friend Darkke, I'll be the willing and very capable executioner. All I need to remember with the jumper cables is that red is positive, black is negative, and make sure his something-or-other is wet. After that, maybe a very hot fire, but I'm occasionally more creative.
