   Thanks so much Amy, Anna, max&Kate  !  We hope to debut the set in May at the Nebraska Ren Faire.  Depends if I can get the dress done in time.  I'm making two tall hats to got with both our outfits; one entirely in black velveteen and the other in a combo of the small fleur pattern from hubby's doublet with a black brim.  Hopefully both will be trimmed in gold braid like his doublet.   Thankfully we both wear the same hat size, so we can trade off  . First time hat making too.

It is actually a two-tone brocatelle with a raised texture. I added the metallic stitching on the ribbon effect around each diamond shape. Then of course the beads.
I'm trying to have it finished by April 7 if my back holds up.

 Hubby's noble garb so far.  Still need to make the matching breeches (my first attempt I had one leg with the nap running the wrong way. Gah!) grommets on the sides of the doublet, and two grommets at the throat of the cloak. Hubby wanted the grommets on the cloak to replace cords when they wear out or break.
 


I need to straighten out a couple of the clasps.  Keep forgetting to do that..
