I do it on my machine, what you see took approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Yeah, I know, I cheat.  ::)  ;)

Unfortunately, no. I live in Arkansas. Too far away to do a lot of fun stuff.

Thanks, it's taking longer than I like. I'm trying to convince my husband to let me retire early so I can do this more. He says, maybe in 10 years.  :'(

I have a Pfaff Creative 4.0. It has a million neat things and I just haven't had time to play with it like I'd like.

Cecil, that looks fantastic. I like the colors. Can't wait to see it finished.

Joining the fun!

This is a project I've been working on for most of the winter season; it's not Renaissance or historically accurate by any means. It was originally inspired by a few of Lady Stark's (Game of Thrones) outfits, and then heavily influenced by at least two of Eowyn's outfits from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. I hope to have it done in time for Sherwood Forest Faire. (Keep in mind that this is my third sewing project ever; total newbie here! ^_^ )

Sketched idea:

What I have so far:

Modeled by my friend Meg, and mostly held together by pins ^_^

Looking sharp.

I did a similar LoTR inspired piece that was done in time for last year's Sherwood Forest Faire. You may have seen it, LibraryPrincess. It was done in Purples and Golds.

You individualized the look well Princess--I would not guess where that design came from! Good job! And for your third project it's verrrry impressive--keep going!
