With the not actually working the faire (in all likelihood) I may actually be able to stop by the official campground this year for once. I kick myself for not being on the board since the Faire, and it's completely my fault. If the Gathering in August happens when I'm a. in town and b. not with company and finally c. not working I should be there.

It has become painfully obvious over the past two weeks that this social group appears to be run by the desires of a select couple of individuals within the group of "elders" with tenure and without any consideration of the thoughts and wishes of any other members.  We do not agree with this sort of structure in any type of social setting and do not choose to associate our family or ourselves with any such group.  We will remain friends with those of you who we have grown to know, but am severing ties with the group as a whole.  Please remove Ann Marie, Chris B and our family from the roster as well.
