Hello Everyone I really just need some advice. Currently I work at a renaissance faire in the summer but I'm a personal lover of garb. I don't make my garb w and am looking for a great bodice that I will be able to use for a while. I'm looking for something with enough boning that will give me great support without needing a corset. Also something in heavier and fancier fabric than just plain cotton duck. I don't necessarily have a price range at this time.

I have bought from pendragon costumes, I cannot wear felix needleworth's bodices but I have had good experiences with Ophelia's. My measurements are 40-32-? so I'm not extremely well endowed and don't need heavy duty boning.

If you could point out some vendors and garb makers that would be wonderful.

Thanks in advance,

Lyss

I'm another *huge* fan of Ophelia's!  People also seem to love Moresca.

Taffy Saltwater

I love Moresca & have four of their bodices - two Pirates (black/wine), a Max in autumny shades, and a Phillippa in brown & green.  They are wonderfully comfortable & the Pirates make your waist look teensy.  Their website has been down, but give them a buzz for a catalog.

I can also recommend http://www.pendragoncostumes.com/  They have BEAUTIFUL costumes, very high quality.

Thanks everyone, currently I'm checking out a couple. All the ones recommended I've done a lot of research about and I've heard great things about their quality. If you can think of anywhere else that would be amazing. I'm not ordering any time until after Halloween anyway.
