Although made for men, yes I have. You need to be *very* secure with everything but it's comfortable once you become used to the idea that you are basically 'hanging out' under your doublet/surcoat.  I like the heat dissipation.
Temper; what makes a good sword, be sure to keep it.

I wear them.  They were fine, but I wear them with maille and a surcoat.

I have tried to make a version for a female, and could not find a comfortable way to wear them.
