Tachi was not doing well at all- so this AM I took him to the Royal Vet.
I just got the news that he is diabetic and will need 2 shots every day.He also has thyriod disease which I have managed with 2 pills a day. I go to pick him up in 20 Minutes. At least it is not kidney failure. That is a relief.

Poor sweet baby... You are such a wonderful kitty mama, Majesty, I am sure Tachi knows just how much you love him. Sending warm, comforting energy to you both.

I am doing Ok giving Tachi his shots. The needle is so fine he does not even feel it. It helps that he is gentle and has a very sweet disposition. I think He feels better. He is in my lap purrring right now. This cat means a lot to me.

Still Meggers, just a little more grown up now. :)

Queen Bonnie

I miss you too Eloquent! Thanks for the hugs!  I think Tachi is feeling better. No idea what to do about his shots while I am at TRF.
Glad you will be there next Sat. I will not be at the POW for the parade. Friends are taking me to the Kings feast! I have never been! I am excited. Wondering what gown to wear! ???

Ooo Queen Bonnie, the Kings Feast!? Congratulations! I have never been and well I don't when I will be able to with how much money it costs.

I am so very happy to hear that Tachi is doing better with his health. He is so lucky to have you and you him. I hope that he can pull through this. Sending More Positive Energy!

That is why Lord A and I never went to the Feast either. The cost.
I am going to check in to seeing how much it costs to board Tachi at the vet. I may not be able to make all the faire weekends I had planned on- but I will be there for the first anyway.

Bonnie,
Glad to hear your Tachi is doing better. I  finally had to put Wonton the Peke down. Steroids and Antibiotics would not keep the skin problem under control more than a day or two... he was a MESS! I know it was best but I still hate doing it! I will see you next Weekend!!!! I have to go out to site again... we are packing in all the RB goodies and setting up! UGHHH hard work! Cat

Queen Bonnie

Boarding at the vet is expensive- but I see no other alternative. No other way to get him his shots and pills. I will have to crunch numbers and see what  faire weekends I will give up.
I have no problem giving Tachi his shots-and he does not even seem to feel them- but hope they help. He has so much wrong with him. Thyroid diearas and now diabetes.
I am feeling down about this today.
So sorry about Won Ton . That is never an easy decision.
See you soon Cat!

Queen Bonnie,
What about taking Tachi with you in a cat carrier and keeping him in your hotel?  Leave the do not disturb hanger on the door knob and no one would be the wiser.  Bring one of the disposable kitty litter boxes that they sell at Pets Mart and bring his food and water and meds and you can take care of him still with no extra cost of boarding.

I had thought of that- and I would rather have him with me- but I check out Sunday AM and go to TRF most of the day. I can't leave him in the car all day- more $$$ to pay for the motel room for an extra day, than the Vet. He will be monitered and safe at my Vet and they love him.
Life gets interesting. I will take things one weekend at a time.

You should have gotten with me... I have the library setup with a bed and all and it would be no problem for you and your kitty to camp here!  I am supposing he would not be unhappy in a room with a bed, camelback sofa and victrola.   If you ever need to camp here PLEASE let me know!!! I will renmail you my phone!!!! Cat
