Avast, Y'all!

Captain Liam and I are still trying get in to Scarborough Faire.  We've not yet been successful, but we're hoping 3rd time is a charm.  We've really decided to ramp up our proposal by providing a very detailed history, pictures of the crew and product as well as some in-put from you.

We would absolutely LOVE to be able to provide them with recommendations directly from our customers and fans.  So, we are humbly and meekly (well...ok not meekly...but definitely humbly) asking our fans to do one of the following:

1: Comment back to this posting or email Madam Nina at ThimbleNina@yahoo.com your recommendation.  Think of it as the the back cover of the latest novel.  Let us know what you think of our shop, our service, our product or our crew.  Tell us about your favorite auction experience or about that really cool deal that you got.  A sentence or two is all we need from you.  You will be credited in our publication and I will email you back a secret prize!!

2: If you REALLY want to help us out...we'd be honored if you would write to Scarborough Faire directly and request our presence.  I think the more requests we have from Texas and Scarborough fans the better.  If you send us a carbon copy of your letter, I will email you back an even cooler secret prize!

We certainly would not be anywhere without the support of each and every one of you.  We look forward to hearing from and seeing you soon.

It ain't the years, it's the mileage.

If I remember correctly Scarborough does not allow mass produced goods, The majority of your wares have to be hand made.  I also believe that merchants and artists have to submit samples to a judging panel.  I do not think the decision is up to one person.

MadamNina

We know that the festival is run by committee and by it's nature cannot be decided by one person.  We are also aware of the 'mass produced'  goods rule, though they are most certainly there.  We will be submitting samples to a judging panel, as we have for the last 2 years.

Look, All we want is just a chance to bring a very good business to this festival.  Other festivals run very similarly to Scarborough have benefited by what we are offering.  We just don't want them to take our word for it!  We feel that every one of our customers has something to say about what we can offer...so lets give what every faire runs on (ie...visitors!) a voice!

Besides...the worst they will say is no.  I will only be saddened by the 'no' if I didn't try everything I could first.

Nina - your shoppe and the pirate auction are a fun part of TRF and would, IMHO, also be a hit at Scarby.  I'll be happy to send a good word for you and Liam.

Queen Bonnie

I agree! I enjoy your shop and auctions! Fun to have you at Scarby too!
Good luck! I will add my 2 pence!
