YA, I missed it. I had to work that weekend and could not get leave for it. I would love to see that again, there or at TRF.

All in all, I think the weather was quite acceptable this weekend.  Sure there was a little liquid sunshine, and the winds did pick up a little sunday, but compared to last year, it was a frickin' gift! 

And not just last weekend, but I think we got very lucky this year with our faire weather.  Sure, we had our cold, we had our wind, but as a whole a very pleasant faire season.

Tis a shame I wasnt able to make Closing weekend after all.  Stupid work   There is always hope that next year will be better and that the weather will be just so

I have to admit that even with the cold/wetness of Saturday, this was still a far better weekend than last years.

In a case of lemmons and lemmonaid I used to bit of rain we had to play with the mundanes in the lanes.  jokes about Scottish weather and the silly English and the trouble they will go to to just annoy an honest scotsman in a kilt.   Beside there is only one think to do when the weather gets like that go to the pub and get a drink.  On the plus side it was just cold enough to really enjoy the camp fire and the give people a reason to play the drum to get warm.

It was funny Saturday afternoon to see people thundering for the gate at the first sign of a raindrop. Lightweights! I could've done without the chilly wind, but I'll take the weather we had at closing this year over last year's closing any time. We were blessed with outstanding weather this season, and I'm grateful.

Well there is always next year to hope for snow.  Why not hope that it snows for Christmas?

I personally dont like the cold, wet stuff and hope it dont snow EVER!!

I'm from the Texas Gulf Coast for a reason.....NO SNOW!!!! I remember shoveling that crap North of Chicago in Boot, and it SUCKED!!!

Not to mention I wear the kilt as often as possible!
