Im trying not to tear up while I post this.  To all of you who Dennis and I met this weekend, who helped us set up, who watched over me when I was sick, who just went so far out of your way to make us feel not only welcome, but as if we are members of your families, well- thank you doesnt seem adequate.

Mac, thanks for goading us into camping.  It was cold, and at times wet- and Im not sure Ill ever think of porta privies the same way, but we had a blast!  Thanks for all your warm hugs and great stories, and for being so dern cute!

Teach, thanks for the awesome bear hugs and for sharing your wonderful Loki- and for letting me sneak off with your last jar of Apple Pie!  We will be enjoying it for a while to come, as we sip it slowly to make it last.

Zaubon, darling sir, you have such a special place in my heart now.  Thanks for keeping us fed and going out of your way to make sure I had everything I needed.  You saved my throat with hot tea and kept my blood sugars up when everything else failed.  You're a sweetheart of a man and I love ya to death.

Mpullen, you gruff old bear- thanks for lighting my fire *giggle* and watching out for us newbie campers.  You look dern good in a kilt, too!

Catherine, thank you for watching over me when I wasnt feeling good and offering to let me use your cot and cabana tent.  You are such a lovely person, and your family is just adorable!  I am quite sure you and I will be friends for a long, long time.

Taarna & JP, I cant put into words what you both mean to me.  I had a really hard time telling you guys goodbye, and I really had to hold back the tears on that last hug.  Thank you both for EVERYTHING, especially when I was sick.  And JP, thanks for not lecturing me too loudly, haha!

Gwennie, (I prolly spelled that wrong)you are such a fun person to be around, you lit up the campgrounds everytime I turned around.  Thanks for keeping Dennis entertained while I was helping out Blue, and for all the fun times and laughter shared.

BonnyPearl, you're a fellow naughty sprite and I adore you to death.  All hail the IBTC founder!  Remember, you may have small boobs, but ya got a huge heart!

Cyn, you were a highlight for Dennis and I both.  Youre just about the sexiest pirate I know, and more fun to party with than ten barrels of monkeys.  Im so glad we got to meet you, you made the weekend an absolute blast with your spunk and pretty pirate panties.

Mousie, Im so glad I finally got to meet your cute little self!  Thanks for letting me love on the baby and for introducing me around Brigadoon.  I wish you all the best things, and I know you're gonna make a terrific Mom!!

Blue & Ace, for you I dont have words of thanks adequate enough.  You are both amazing people, and I know Dennis & I have truly made lifelong friends in the two of you.  Love seems like a strong word after a few days, but I do love you guys to pieces.  Thanks for everything, from helping us set up camp to making sure we were well welcomed, from making my fair hair to getting us bathed.  You are just absolutely fabulous, and Ill never, ever forget the welcome you gave us.

To the rest that I didnt list individually but should have (its late and Im wearing down) you all are incredible people and I couldn't count myself more fortunate than to a part of Clan McLotofus.  You took this girl away from the mundane of everyday and gave me the best vacation Ive had in years.  You brought Dennis out of his anti camping pit, and showed us just how great faire life can REALLY be.  We will never forget this weekend, or you, and cant wait until the fates bring us all together again.

This post seems to have the Ice Queen Faerie melting a tad.... it must be, for her eyes are leaking water, and her heart does not feel of hardened ice anymore. Lishy and Dennis, I thank you both for deciding to come and camp with us this weekend. It simply would not have been the same without you both. Your shining personalities just lit up the entire camp and I feel privileged and honored to have met you both. My world is a brighter place now for knowing you.
I can not wait until we can all get together once again. That is the only thing I dislike about fairmily is that we are spread much to far across the land to see each other more often.

i want to say thankx to everybody from the forums for coming out his weekend, espcially the out of towners.  This has been the best weekend ever at TRF and it was because of all you showing up and making it so very memorable.

DS, thank you for the warmest hugs Ive ever gotten from a yeti.  You made me laugh so many times, and I dont think anyone has ever made me feel as drop dead gorgeous as you did a time or two this weekend.  Not to mention the warm glow I still have from you considering me to be a part of a very elite group. . .

Loki, thank you for trying your damnedest to get me to drink no matter how many times I refused.  You are aptly named my lord.  In all seriousness though, thanks for making me feel welcome and being such a sharing and joyful person to be around, and for all the great laughs.

Aiacha, thank you for being your genuine, steady as a rock self.  You made me smile more than once with your stories and we all know without you the DragonYeti would run amock!

Lord Zenok, your quiet ways had me wondering why you hang around so many of us nuts a time or two, haha.  Thank you for always having a smile ready for me and for being a very considerate next door neighbor.
