Born of Hope is a Lord of the Rings fan film that, I think, is going to be available to download from their website in 2009. The quality looks impressive for a fan film.

I see this has been posted before, but I think it deserves a bump!

I stumbled upon this the other night by accident, and thought that it looks very interesting.  There's quite a lot to take a look at- the garb looks very nice, as does the weaponry.  That's how I found it- looking for orc swords.

Hopefully they'll find the funds to get the film finished- what I've seen so far looks quite good!

I met Kate, the director back in 2006 at the Gathering of the Fellowship convention in Toronto, where she was doing a panel for the movie. I'm so glad it is finally available and turned out amazingly!

Yes, I thought that, for a fan film, it turned out /quite/ well. Definitely worth watching. :-)
