There is not a much better space down near the gypsy stage. The issue with being over at the Cat & Fiddle is that marchers will have to back track to the jousting area, out of courtesy, I don't want to do that to them. I'm trying to think of an area that would be good that our marchers can make, that the shade will be good. Anywhere close to the Scotty Cotty thats shade and not crowded?

Dana, do you have any ideas, since you are our principal photographer...

And unless someone can find someone to play a musical instrument for it on Saturday or any other day this weekend, no, I don't think there will be a game of Musical Men. I haven't had the time to try and re-organize it after it didn't happen on Opening Weekend. Somebody else has got to take the reigns on this one

Hmmmmmm.  I might know someone we could get to play the instrument if someone else organizes.......But I am not sure he could be coaxed into playing......

Hey Chris...the weather dude said that the 30% showers will be East of the area...(and we all know how balls-on accurate Texas weather prognosticators are)

Also folks, we need to organize for the Closing Weekend RF.com Group photo...unless there are any great objections to it, I think it'll be after parade across from the Friends of Faire in Pecan Grove, after/during the Meet n' Greet.

Do we want to try and do it all three days?

If we do it there, would anyone mind holding off on picture taking till i get there being as how i march in parade?

I have finished washing garb (can you believe some if it was still waiting from Thanksgiving?!?!)!  My Lord and I shall be attending Sunday and Monday.  It's our 14 year anniversary -- so NO kids for us (YAY!).  We'll be staying at the Hampton Inn and should arrive Saturday evening.  Will we find you folks at the pool?

I will not be going to Scarby this last weekend. I am disappointed because all of my Fairmily will be there for closing weekend and Chris and I can not make it.

My coworkers felt I was taking too much time off and took it to the boss. Even though they had already agreed on covering me this Sunday. This was the one weekend that I wanted to make if I could not make any others.

Well, I hope everyone has fun and I will see you some other time.

I'll be up there this Saturday.   Going to try something a bit different, I won't have a camera on me this trip.    It'll be different, in fact, I don't know what it will be like.  I don't think I've ever been to faire without a camera.  Does that make it this week's sign of the Apocalypse? 

Nothing wrong with my gear, I've just got a very large shoot coming up first weekend of June and I'm clearing the decks ahead of it.  Camera will be going in for it's yearly sensor cleaning a couple of weeks earlier than normal.
