I'll be up there this Saturday.   Going to try something a bit different, I won't have a camera on me this trip.    It'll be different, in fact, I don't know what it will be like.  I don't think I've ever been to faire without a camera.  Does that make it this week's sign of the Apocalypse?  .......

I have often thought of doing that, going to faire on a second pass, without a camera. I'm not really sure what I would do since my entire approach is to be a roving ranger, snapping away with moments of interaction. Without the camera, I'm rather lost.

Further, that thought was developed in the 35mm days; I couldn't afford two trips of 15-24 rolls each. Now in the DSLR range, the figures change drastically.

Go back without a camera? Depend on my memories without photo support? I don't think I could stand that.

I'm still so blown away by everyone and everything I experienced this weekend at Scarby (my first visit), that I'm still having trouble finding the words to describe it!  It was wonderful meeting so many of you, finally, and I'm so happy to have gotten to spend at least a few minutes talking, laughing and getting to know all of you!!!  Thanks for making it all so special for me!

LOL  I was a bit busy myself!  I enjoyed meeting you also, Mac, and I did manage to see you in the parade and at the pub a few times!  Maybe well have a chance to hang at that other Faire in the fall...
