Looking for a certain wig...

Hello all...

I am looking for a wig like Gov. Swan wore in POTC. 

If anyone knows how I can find out where they (Disney) got theirs or where I can get one that would be great. My assumption is that it was custom made for him.

Check out Lacy Wigs. They are out of New York City. It would be called a Judge Wig.  Suitable for the Baroque look tht was more Gov. Swann. Here is a link.  http://www.wigs.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=8&products_id=788 The wig also comes in Grey.



I used to work in the Costume Industry. The Costume Shop I used to work at, all the wigs came from Lacey Wig Company. They are rental quality, easy to clean, rebrush and style. I would spend a great deal of time after Halloween restyling all the wigs after Carol had washed them. I own several Lacey Wigs myself.

Even if you do a Google search on Costume Wigs, many of the sites will display Lacey Wigs. Check for the best prices though.

Check out www.theatrehouse.com. Look under men's wigs at the judge one. It's pretty good. I haven't been able to find another one yet.
