Hey everyone,

I thought the locals that know me maybe interested in a group cruise that I have put together on the Carnival Inspiration, 4 night cruise out of Tampa for Sept. 17,2009.

I have already sold some cabins, but I have three oceanview cat. 6b cabins and three inside cabins left at these rates that I need to sell.

Oceanview  (6b) cabin - $376.11pp  (based on double occupancy)
Inside (4b) Cabin - $326.11pp         (based on double occupancy)  UPDATE! Insides are now sold out!
***** this price includes taxes, and gratuities*****

Once the last three oceanview cabins sell out at the above rates the new rate will be $416.11 including all taxes and gratuites. I have an additional 6 oceanview cabins held at this new rate, so plenty for anyone to get in on.

A intial First deposit of - $25.00 is due ASAP to gtd your stateroom at these great rates-
Second payment of $150 is due by May 8th
Final payment (your cruise must be paid in full) by July 10th

Call me or email me at PTVacations@aol.com if your interested as you may not see me in time to get in on this when you see me at the fair. Because, I probably won't go every weekend this year.

Here's the legal stuff...

For this cruise you will need a passport (about $100.00) or passcard (specifically for cruising only about $45.00). See the goverment's .org website for more information or check out my website for the link.

Cancellation- The initial $25 deposit is non-refundable (this is our Prestige travel agency's service fee) and once final payment has been recieved the non-refundable service fee is $50.00. Normal cruiseline cancellation policy still applies to group bookings, please email me for specifics or check out Carnival's website or brochure for more information on their normal cancellation policy.

Trip insurance is available to purchase for an additional $49pp and can be added to your reservation anytime upto the final payment due date.

    PS
Anna if you feel this is an inapropreate posting as the moderater feel free to delete it...you won't hurt my feelings. :)

          Thanks, Lori

In all fairness you really should post prices with just port fees and taxes. Throwing in gratuity pricing really makes you look uncompetitive. I looked at those rates and went "WTF?" It wasn't until I realized you had included gratuities that I realized your prices were quite as high as I initially thought.

Captain Jack Wolfe

Actually, those prices are quite reasonable, speaking as a veteran cruiser.  What are the destinations, or is this a blue water cruise?

Mad Jack, I was comparing it to the $350 outside/$270 inside that the price pops up without gratuities.
I agree with gratuities that's a good price, but if you aren't used to all the add ons you have to look for, it makes it look way out of range compared to other prices.

Hi Caligo,

Humm...maybe I should make that area of the post bigger, so it stands out more. Thanks for the heads up on that.
When you book a group with the cruiseline the rate includes all the taxes. We as the group though also elected to include the gratuities as well. :) We will probably offer some sort of ammenity with this rate too like a $25 onboard credit, the girls just have to figure out what they want first before we publish it. We work on a majority rules kinds thing, very diplomatic and so far the cruise group is 8 cabins of women, with two other cabins holding couples. :) I might go too if I can get a travel agent rate...so that would be one more cabin of two women, but I still don't get a say on the ammenity. LOL!
Sorry if it's a little confusing...

Hi Mad Jack,

Yup, the rate includes all taxes and gratuities. Sorry, rum and grog is extra onboard the ship though (juice, water and tea is included in the sailing price), but other than that or gambling, you probably won't have any other expenses to worry about unless of course you want to visit the spa or my favorite -shop! :)

Once onboard, you can enjoy all the ammenities of the ship, free food (all you can eat) including room service, free access to entertainment like: stage shows, bars and clubs, and a casino and much more. Oh and don't forget you get to visit the port of Cozumel and their is plenty of things to do and see around there. Course, if your just looking to relax? The ship has a nice pool and pool bar to lounge around, a library, spa, and a gallary to view and if you don't feel like leaving your cabin the stateroom tv's usually have great movies to watch. For more information check out Carnival's offical website....Carnival.com

It's going to Cozumel!? That has got to be the most beautiful water I have ever seen. Crystal clear and the most incredible blue. If anyone has ever wanted to learn to dive that's the place to do it. They offer one day certifications. You learn the basics in an hour, walk across the street to the beach and in you go. I dove down 30 feet my first dive. Saw barracuda, big huge coral covered with brilliant yellow butterfly fish, Sea fans...It was like swimming in an aquarium.

That sure would be alot of fun. Who is the group?

Caligo

Anna, if you enjoyed diving in Coz, try Belize  ;D

OH Cozumel!! I went to the dolphin swim there! soo awesome, and then the cherry tequila! YUM!
Im not bad im just drawn that way!

Hi Anna,

My dance group goes on this cruise every other year or so. :0) They can gtd at least 8 cabins with this group so we automatically qualify for the group discount. I always try to book extra cabins so we can share the great rate with others. Course' I am not gonna lie, it doesn't hurt that the more cabins I book the more comission I make.
   PS
Your much braver than I, I could never dive. When I want out of the water I want out and right then and there, I wouldn't want to have to wait to decompress or anything. And your right the water over their is so blue and beautiful! :) So, you ready to come along??? ;)
Mmketeer

Caligo

MM, if you are not doing a deep dive no worries about decomp, you just swim up and get out. Except for wreck dives most dives are pretty shallow.

Don't forget to visit Coconuts in Cozumel, best bar on the island. Open sunrise to sunset because they run off solar.

Anna Iram

Even if you didn't want to dive you could snorkle and see plenty, the water is so clear.

I was in Belize on this same trip Caligo. I didn't dive there, I'm really barely a novice, but the Blue Hole I hear is amazing! I did take an interesting walk through the city of Belize though, Anna had to have an adventure. :), and I took a snorkling/ out-island trip. The gentleman manning our dive boat was the most beautiful man I've ever seen. He had the most amazing golden yellow eyes....  :) The snorkling was nice too.

I'd never taken a cruise before and it was just so enjoyable. So footloose.
