Greetings, All.  I have asked our kind host, John, to sticky this topic so that it will always appear at the top of our thread list.  Anyone having photos to share can either add them in a post or send me the link and I'll add it here in the first post.  I thought this might be a little easier than scrolling through page after page of posts, trying to find the pictures everyone has taken.

Go ahead...give us your best shots  ;)

Here's some from 2004, I think.  Only fitting that we should start with some old memories first.

Blue-Eyed Wench

My apologies for the lateness of this posting: Life has been quite a trip for me this year with the loss of Ric and my computer is very old and tempermental.

I have my photos from last year's faire and a few from 2007 posted here:

There is a seperate folder for Noble Cause Productions (picked from the 6wks I shot) and I will also be putting one up with Washing Well Wenches very soon, providing my computer cooperates!

I cannot wait for this year's faire & hope you all enjoy them!

Ah, sweet memories.  Sadly, many of these members of our faire family won't be returning this year.  Thank you, kind lady, for keeping the memories alive.

Some of the links to mine-will have to look around and see if there are any more-but plenty to get started. There are some from way back, up to recent. I think some places you may need to go into subfolders. Wow, been a little while since I even looked at these....ah, memories!

Time to start the 2009 collection....

Had a great time on Sunday, enjoyed talking with Terry and Professor M, and took even more pictures than last year.  I've posted them to subgalleries under

 http://imageevent.com/ralf/pennsylvania/renfest2009

I managed to catch at least a few minutes of every stage act except Ar Eigean Gaels (sorry guys).

[Edit: done uploading, still need to finish captioning.]

Blushing

I was hoping to also have my pictures from my downtown Pittsburgh wanderings up, but I've been slammed with way too many things to do.  At least the faire photos are up!

These are from Sept. 19-20, 2009 ... enjoy.

I've uploaded all my photos to Picasa where you can get print quality photos for your devious pleasure!  Had fun this year and hope I can do it again!

Here's a piece of the final song of the final weekend.  Thanks to Rudy for the camera work.  Thanks to Sally Forth (Lorena Shannon) for starting it off and thanks to you all for making it what it means.

I was going through some old files on my computer and I found these from 2005. Didn't take that many, but there are some nice memories there!

Athena, those were great!  It was nice to see so many things long gone.  The Maypole, an exciting pub sing, local performers, and they even allowed guests to leave out the front gate.  So many things we took for granted, that I miss so much now.  Thank you for finding those.

Doesn't it make you wonder what kind of excuses they give the new cast when they ask why so many people aren't returning?
Reminds me of the old tombstone epitaph, "As I am now, so shall you be."
