I think the best part is that there's no lacing! That's the only drawback to corsets, the not being able to get into it on your own. I'm all for adjustable buckles and quick-release access.

Wowie! Those look awesome. I don't know about the lack of lacing, though... Lacing may be a pain but you can't do much cinching with zippers. I'd be afraid of busting out at the bust! That or some devious person deciding it'd be fun to "accidently" unzip.
