BLAKDUKE

Just saw the news on MSN.  At least she is not in pain any more.

She was certainly a beauty and an icon for girls of my age in highschool. We all wanted to look like Farah. I'd read she was ill again, but hadn't heard she had passed. I'd so sad for that.

Amen  to that.  She was a great lady.  I had just  heard on the news on Monday that she  and  Ryan  o' Neil were finally going to get married.  So sad.    Rest in peace Farrah .

Its very sad...Ryan O'Neil had asked her to marry him after all these years...He said they would marry when she was able to say yes...

All those years he could have asked her and all those years she could have said yes...  :-[

Blessings to Farrah, her family & friends.

I remember "Farrah hair"!  There was not one guy in my school who didn't have "both" posters pinned to his wall.  If you were there you know the posters I'm talking about!

Any death is sad, but the passing of an icon does bring your own mortality to the forefront of your mind.

For those that don't know the classic poster, well....

Anyone who saw the documentary on Farrah's fight with Cancer recently could not have watched it with a  dry eye. It was tough to watch this beautiful and talented woman fight the brave fight.

Another film great leaves us. As Jacquilyn Smith said today, "Now Farrah is with the real angels." RIP Farrah.

Another beautiful, beautiful woman lost to the world.  I hope she is at peace now.

Not only was she beautiful, the people closest to her say she was one of those genuinely nice folks who didn't let Hollywood change her into a pretentious diva.  Godspeed Farrah!

I too had the requisite, classic poster.
